The Forest looked dead, covered with a thick layer of snow and standing more silent than ever it had before. Sirius had never been in the Forest before. It occurred to him to question why Remus had. He and James had always found plenty of trouble elsewhere.

Bill began to finger-comb his hair. He didn’t turn away and he didn’t move toward the door, and so Remus stood in his path not sure when their shower would officially end. Struggling with a tangle behind his head, Bill asked, ‘Was Sirius your lover?’
Little Wounds - Harry/Neville, Remus/Sirius, rated G. 2005.
Harry joined them too, sitting next to Neville so that if one of them shifted their bare knees would brush, and they made a silent game of pretending to be excited about Lavender’s coloured bra. Sometimes their grins were just for each other, but that was all right, and Dean and Ron and Seamus never noticed.

And he knew suddenly that he didn’t want to talk about it. Sirius was coming. Sirius could do it. Sirius would do all the explaining that he shouldn’t have to do, because it wasn’t his... it wasn’t his job to tell anyone what Dumbledore had said about Fudge. It wasn’t his– Fault.

Severus’ throat felt a little dry. He rose, and stepped close to Lupin, who looked up at him with the stiff movements of a drunk. He held out a hand, and asked, ‘Why don’t you give me your jacket?’

There’s no wine left to spill– just as well– and when he hesitates long enough to wonder why an older man, the better man really, lets him take the lead, take control, take anything he damn well wants, he’s momentarily angry enough, scared enough, to assert, ‘I’m not my brother.’
